The Prehistoric Guide to Oxfordshire

7th April, 2015 David Moon

David shall try and describe what a traveller might have found had she or he arrived in Oxfordshire in the Neolithic/Bronze Age, maybe touch on Iron Age. He’ll talk about ways of life- subsistence, travel, ritual systems, and illustrate the talk with reference to objects held in the county collection.

Sadly, David Moon was unable to deliver his lecture.

However, John Whiting, a committee member of HA&HG, was able to step in and regale the audience with his memories of his time ‘in the print’ in Fleet Street.
